Surrendering allowances in the EU ETS Registry

The Norwegian Environment Agency invites authorised representatives (ARs) of maritime operator holding accounts (MOHAs) and operator holding accounts (OHAs) as well as other stakeholders to a webinar on responsibilities in the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS), including a step-by-step guide on how to enter emissions and surrender allowances.

The deadline for reporting and entering emissions for 2024 was 31 March 2025. 

The deadline for surrendering allowances for 2024 emissions is 30 September 2025. 

Please note that this is the first time shipping companies must surrender allowances.
