Kontroll av slim og putty 2018 - kjemisk analyse av regulerte stoffer i produkter

Miljødirektoratet har undersøkt 14 slim og putty for innhold av regulerte helse- og miljøfarlige stoffer, blant annet bor, CMI og MI. Det ble funnet for høye nivåer av bor i seks av produktene og høye nivåer av CMI og MI i ett av produktene. Alle seks produktene var forbudte og ble trukket fra markedet.
The Norwegian Environment Agency has analysed 14 toy slimes and putty for regulated hazardous substances such as Boron, CMI and MI. The chemical analysis shows that six products concentrations of Boron above regulatory limt value. One product contained high concentrations of CMI and MI. All six products are withdrawn from the market by the distributors.
