Risk assessment of VOCs in handheld toys for children

Om publikasjonen

In 2020 the Norwegian Institute for Air Research (Nilu) has on behalf of the Norwegian Environment Agency,

conducted a screening study to identify volatile organic chemicals (VOCs)
emitted from a total of 45 different handheld toys for children. Based on the
analytical results presented by Nilu (2020), the aim of the present report is to
assess whether the VOC emissions from the toys can give rise to any health
concerns for children.
