Evaluation of fish trap and guiding fence effi-ciency in the River Tana in 2023

The Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) has, on behalf of the Norwegian Environment Agency, monitored how migratory and migratory fish were affected by the trap and the barrier fences.

To carry this out, an arsenal of sonars, video cameras with and without built-in artificial intelligence, observation by snorkelling and filming with a drone was used.
