Beach litter on urban beaches and methodology for mesoplastic and pellets

The report investigates and evaluates beach litter on urban beaches and methodology for mesoplastics and pellets.

Four beaches (Nakkholmen, Langøyene, Nordre Langåra, and Rolfstangen) were selected to represent urban and semi-urban beaches in the Oslofjord with a two-fold purpose: To investigate urban and semi-urban beaches to capture local litter sources, and to investigate whether a survey of mesoplastic fragments and plastic pellets could be conducted on the same beaches as the litter surveys (urban and semi-urban beaches).
